Bar Race

Bar race is an animated chart that shows ranking changes across frames.

Requirements​

To build a bar race, use:

  • two dimensions:
    • loop field: frame progression field (often time)
    • key field: ranked entity
  • one metric: value used for ranking

Optionally, you can provide a color field.

From the settings panel, you can configure:

  1. loop, key, and optional color fields
  2. animation speed and number of players
  3. value display options
  4. per-key styling overrides

Logo Lookup​

If bar keys match known entities (for example companies), Columns can display entity logos automatically.
