Bar charts are one of the most versatile chart types in Columns.

Vertical vs Horizontal​

You can switch between:

  • Column (vertical)
  • Bar (horizontal)

Click a bar to open chart settings and change orientation.

Highlight Bars​

You can highlight selected bars while dimming the rest to direct attention.

Group vs Stack​

For multiple metrics, choose one of two display modes:

  • Group: separate bars per metric under each key
  • Stack: one bar per key with stacked metric segments
